Jessie Mae Hemphill’s cousin Peggy Sue Hemphill-Lesueur aka Lady Trucker is heading up this celebration with The Blues Fund to pay tribute to Jessie and the North Mississippi style of Hill Country Blues. Lady Trucker recently played the Blues Rules festival in Crissier, Switzerland. That year at Blues Rules it was a tribute to Jessie Mae Hemphill as well.
